Sherrill is a Colorado artist who designs and creates jewelry, she has a knack for recycling old jewelry and turning them into unique one-of-a-kind piece. The challenge was to create a website with a shopping cart as unique as Sherrill’s designs.
The Solution (ASP, Database & PayPal)
The website was designed to be funky and feminine to parallel Sherrill’s jewelry.
I incorporated a custom built shopping cart as the “off the shelf” options would have compromised the design and made it look like a template or cookie cutter website, which was definitely not the goal of the website. www.sherrilldesigns.com
Aspen Orthodontist, Jack Hilty had a beautiful print brochure and need a great website to match.
The Solution (HTML & CSS)
The website I designed for Jack reuses and repeats many of the elements found in the print brochure, giving a good sense of brand continuity. View Site
Lance from Corporate Housing West had a static website that was too slow to respond to his property management business, pages would get out of date and not reflect the business’s rental property inventory. This resulted in missed opportunities and losses in potential revenues.
The Solution (PHP and MySQL)
After meeting with Lance it I created a dynamic website that allows Lance, his staff and clients to add, search and request bookings.
Property Owners are happy because they have control over their listings via an account center.
Renters are happy because they can easily search the site’s listings, and request bookings at the listings page.
Lance is happy because he has complete control of his site’s content via a custom content management system.
Please note that Corporate Housing West LLC has been dissolved as it’s business was hit hard when the price of oil dropped and their main clients, the energy companies pulled out of western Colorado, leaving the land owners with to pick up their trash and the local economy to deal with unpaid expansions to schools, law enforcement and roads needed to accommodate the influx of gas fields employees and their families. Sorry Lance.
